Justin Bieber beats TV host in scooter race

Justin Bieber took part in a Segway scooter race on US TV show The View. The 17-year-old pop star challenged co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck to the contest during his appearance on the ABC talk show earlier today. The pair raced each other around the TV studio and the car park outside – where hordes of teenage girls were waiting to catch a glimpse of the Baby singer – on the motorised scooters, which can reach speeds of up to 12.5 mph. The Never Say Never star comfortably beat Hasselbeck – and even rode his Segway backwards at one point..
