Shirdi Sai Mandira, Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore.

Aum Sai Ram

As said earlier in my previous article, I successfully completed my 3rd Piligrimage to Sai Temples on 10th Oct 2010.

After visiting the Sai temple at Avalahalli, I came back towards Yelahanka New Town where i had visited a Sai Baba Temple near to Mother Dairy Bus Stop on the previous Day. But as the temple was closed during my visit, I planned to visit it again today.

I came to Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Yelahanka New town by 8:45am & the Morning Abhishekam was just completed. Baba was dressed in a Wonderful White Dress & was wearing garland made of Rose & Jasmine. The First Glimpse at the Statue of Shirdi Sai brought about Happiness & Satisfaction that i finally visited this temple after missing it many times due to traveling to this Area at the Odd Hours.

I am a regular visitor to Yelahanka New town where my Sister Stays & when ever i'm staying back at bangalore, I come Late in the evenings to sleep at her home & then again start back early in the morning. Due to this late arrival & early departure from her home, i could not visit this temple for the past 3 years.

This time, I had planned for a Stoppage at this temple & as decided i completed my Pending task of visiting him here at Yelahanka. This temple is not that big, not so great in structure. But what is it that attracted me to this place?

The Statue. Yes, the Statue of Shirdi Sai Baba. It is a Pancha Loka Statue of Shirdi Sai Baba that has been installed in this temple & also that this temple is almost 20 years old. This temple was build in early 1990's when Yelahanka New Town was designed. Baba looks charming & contented. I was Happy to see him finally & had a great time meditating on him.

Finally i completed my Darshan & received the Thirtha Prasadam. Every where i went, I got 2 biscuits as Prasadam. Here too Baba's Prasad was 2 Marie Biscuits. I just wonder why don't the temple authorities prepare some proper food & feed him instead of feeding him with Biscuits on Daily Basis. I took some Snaps of Sai Baba in this temple & sharing the same with all Sai Devotees. Sai Devotees in Bangalore can visit him some time to get his blessings.
