Tras el 'baby shower' de Penélope Cruz, la actriz de 'Mujeres Desesperadas' ha decidido ser ella misma la que organice la fiesta pre-parto de una de sus grandes amigas, Victoria Beckham, como forma de agradecerle su apoyo en los malos momentos. Para ello contará la ayuda de otra actriz, Kate Beckinsale.

Con el baby boom que vive Hollywood en los últimos tiempos, el de Penélope Cruz no será el único baby shower del que oiremos hablar este año. Kate Hudson, Owen Wilson y Marion Cotillard, han sido algunos de los actores que han hecho pública la buenanueva de su próxima paternidad.

Entre las parejas que han anunciado recientemente que este año verán llegar a la familia un nuevo miembro están Victoria y David Beckham. Aunque ingleses de procedencia, la pareja está muy integrada en Hollywood desde que hace unos años se mudara; de hecho, son grandes amigos de Tom Cruise y Katie Holmes.

Así, el matrimonio Beckham contará con una organizadora de su 'baby shower' de excepción, nada menos que Eva Longoria, que ha reclutado a su vez a la actriz Kate Beckinsale para preparar la fiesta. Ésta servirá además para despedir a Brooklyn, Romeo y Cruz, que se mudan a Londres con su padre.

"Eva y Kate están organizando la fiesta para poder felicitar a Victoria, pero también para decirle adiós. Están muy tristes porque va a estar muy lejos de Los Angeles pero está la buena noticia del embarazo", señala una fuente cercana a las actrices, según informaciones de 'Contact Music'.

Eva, que ha prometido no reparar en gastos de cara al 'baby shower', espera poder devolverle así el favor a Victoria y David, que la acogieron con los brazos abiertos cuando se enfrentó a la ruptura con Tony Parker el año pasado.

The 'Desperate Housewives' star has reportedly joined forces with actress Kate Beckinsale to throw a lavish bash for their friend - who is currently expecting her fourth child with soccer star husband David Beckham - that will also be a farewell party for the fashion designer and her children Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and five-year-old Cruz, who are heading to England to be with David while he is training there.

A source told more! magazine: "Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale are organising a little get together so they can congratulate Victoria, but also say goodbye.

"They're really sad that there's a chance she's going to be away from Los Angeles for so long. But there's happy news too, with the pregnancy.

"They're planning on getting all their mutual friends together for tea and cakes at Eva's."

Eva - who split from her husband Tony Parker in November - has promised to spare no expense for the party, which will be held at her Los Angeles mansion, and is even having her friend's favourite treats flown in from Europe.

The source added: "She's planning to lay on cupcakes and Laduree macaroons, which she's getting flown over from France because she knows Victoria's absolutely loves them."
