Justin Bieber Covers Drake's Issues << sHerAx

While Justin Bieber may not actually be rapping on his cover of Drake's "Trust Issues," he's sounding so baller and badass that we're assuming Justin's been inhabited by his slightly cooler, more swagged-out alter ego, Shawty Mane. With a little help from Auto-Tune, in his version of  "Trust Issues," Justin's voice almost matches the deep and mature timbre of fellow Canadian and self-professed "big brother" Drake. His voice is so poised, calm and composed that it makes you wonder if this is still the same pop cutie who once sang "Baby" and "One Less Lonely Girl."
As you listen to The Biebs croon his way through Drake's vocal verses, you kinda forget that Justin's still just a teenager who has to contend with a mom and acne and puberty and stuff. That is until you realize he swapped a few R-rated lyrics like "sip" and "f***" for a couple of PG ones like "sing" and "go." Gotta keep the moms of your back, right?
Even though we're pretty sure Shawty Mane inspired his cover of "Trust Issues," Justin pays tribute to his pal Drake by leaving his raps fully intact. And even though we love Drake and all, we're interested to hear some of Justin's own rhymes, Dr. Bieber-style. Next time, Shawty.
