Although Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are reluctant to publicly discuss the details of their romance, they are far less shy about showing support for each other in the form of surprise concert appearances, tweets and words of appreciation and encouragement.
When MTV News caught up with Bieber at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday
, just before he took home three of the coveted surfboards for Choice Male Artist, Choice Male Hottie and Choice TV Villain, we asked him which of the evening's musical acts he was looking forward to between Gomez, Jason Derülo and OneRepublic.
"Best performance of the night, Selena Gomez," he boldly predicted of his lady friend's yet-to-be-seen performance of "Love You Like a Love Song," which, coincidentally enough, went on to take home the award for Choice Love Song.
